Thanks guys. I'm hoping to make some more progress on the carpet today and get the back part of the car finished up. After that's finished I can start putting the dash and the panels back in the interior.

I hope I remember where all those wires connect to lol....  Grin

Made some more progress on the car. Called the vendor for the 9" housing and it should be back in my hands (again) about the middle of next week. Also got the gears/center section setup. I can hardly wait to get the narrowed rearend installed in the car and see how the deep dish wheels look. Smiley

Finally got the rear part of the carpet finished up. It was a total pain in the ass working around that rollcage. Just installing the carpet was bad enough, now I can hardly wait to install the minitubs someday lol....

Blackholehunter, the carpet is fairly easy to work with. It's got a very mild backing on it so it's not ultra tough like factory carpet. I did have to cut/splice in a few places where it wouldn't stretch. If you've ever had to carpet a sub-box or speaker encloser it's very similar to that type of carpet.

I've been on the hunt for some Prostar wheels with the correct size and backspacing for the narrowed rearend that's going in the car. Couldn't find anything and then today I stumbled upon some Draglites on Craigslist. The wheels were in horrible condition, but I brought them back from the dead. These are 15x10 with 4.5" bs.

Here's the before pics.... Notice how badly pitted, oxidized and water spotted they are.

I spent a couple hours with a 4" cotton buff mounted to a 4-1/2" angle grinder and some white rouge polishing compound. Wasn't able to get all the pits out (too deep), but they look a thousand times better IMO....   Grin

Yeah I'm working on that. And at least you know you'll be getting your Prostars back in MUCH better condition than when you loaned them to me.  Grin

Yes.  Much appriciated.  But on another note, most of the water spots and oxidation was due to it sitting outside for extended periods of time while a particular black camaro was taking up residence in my garage.  LOL  Grin

And also much appreciated. Grin What time do you get home tonight so we can setup your gears/center chunk?

Finally got the parts to finish up the door bars for the rollcage. I need to squirt some paint on it, but it's basically done now. :thumb: Here's a few pics of the progress I made today.

I made some more progress on the car. I hurt my back last week so progress went a little slower than I'd hoped. As of now, the new narrowed rearend/axles are installed. Basically just mocked-up at this point as I had to do alot of clearance work for the larger 28x10.50 tires. The stock brakes didn't quite clear so I needed to modify the housing a bit. Next week I'm hoping to get the mounts fabbed up for the custom anti-sway bar. Also need to fabricate and weld on some new adjustment brackets for the lower control arms. Here's some pics of the progress at this point.
