Forget MLS, just get a Fel-Pro 9333 and call it good. Made over 700hp on mine with them. No issues.

A thin layer of red hi-temp silicone on both sides of that used head gasket and you should be golden.

I have reused MLS multiple times on my 408, 12.7 compress 7500 rpm never a problem. The motor I'm putting together is complete budget not cause i have to but because i want to. So far I have AFR 185's, comp chromoly 1.6 rockers, a 351 short block that has 2 seasons on it (with cam all ARP studs w/main girdle and H-beam rods and Probe slugs, cloyes timing set) victor jr, moroso pan, meling pump, GT-45 turbo(china), hot side plumbing, intercooler and some other stuff. I only have 3100 into it. I will buy the mls gaskets but the way most people go through this stuff its not worth it to buy new, when it could had for half off. Between AFP, tim, wally, nate, lee, walter and scott I thought there might be a set kicking around. I want to go blow through turbo and 9.90's for under 5000.

Try the 9333's, you will love them. I think they are like $20 each. Search TheTurboForums and you'll see allot of people using them.
