2007 Points Program Details

For 2006 we have decided to make the points program optional, there will be a $10 participation fee on a race-by-race basis.  Basically if you don't want to participate in the points series you don't have to, but if you do it will be $10 per race to do so.  You will have to make your decision each race, before your first pass in qualifying.  The points will be acumulated as fallows:

2 points for qualifying
2 points for each round win
5 points for final round win
1 point for setting an ET or MPH record

Only one ET and One MPH record point will be awarded per class at each race.  If there is more than one car that goes quicker/faster than the previous ET/MPH record the car with the best number at the end of the event will get the point.  The ET and MPH records are separate items and will be handled as such.

The points pool will be unique to each class, not averaged across the three, and will be divided 80/20 between winner and runner-up.
